Equipping the Saints
In his letter to the Ephesians, the apostle Paul explained the purpose of teachers in the church, "And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ" (Eph 4:11-12). As one of our many efforts to equip the saints for the work of ministry, we offer an ongoing discipleship class every Friday morning called Grace Foundations. This class is offered to anyone who would like to attend, but its main objective is to help our church body to better understand the gospel and know how to apply this gospel to everything in our daily lives.
The goal of Grace Foundations is to systematically and topically teach various doctrines of the Christian Faith in order to renew our minds, reject cultural and worldly ways of thinking, and pursue godliness in every aspect of our Christian lives. We do this so that the saints can be equipped for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ (Eph 4:12).
